  • Listen to the Body

As the body goes through a lot of changes during pregnancy it is extremely important to understand these changes and embrace them. No one knows the limits of the body better than the body itself.   • Stay Hydrated

Staying hydrated is essentially important for staying fit during pregnancy. The main reason behind this is to avoid the overheating of the body, which is extremely harmful for both mommy and the baby. Dehydration brings with it other problems such as dizziness, weakness etc. So, the goal should be to drink enough water – at least sixty-four ounces on a daily basis.

  • Regular cardio sessions

Cardio is a must for the soon-to-be mommies. It has several benefits- starting with strengthening the heart of the mommy and improving the cardiovascular system of the newborn growing inside. It is very helpful for controlling the weight gain process in a healthy manner. So, after consulting the doctor daily walks and jogs can be extremely helpful for the body.

  • Be choosy about the exercises

It is true that daily exercises are important for staying fit during pregnancy. However, not all the exercises fit the bodily needs of a pregnant mommy. That is why; doing exercises while lying flat on back for a long can be extremely harmful especially during the last trimester. Due to this, the blood circulation process to the placenta gets hampered and the mommy might experience dizziness or other problems like that. It can wrongly affect the health of the baby as well.

  • Careful about Diastasis Recti

Certain exercises like – crunches, sit-ups, planks can cause damage to the abdomen. In this condition, the muscles in there get split in half. It is known as Diastasis Recti. It can make the pregnancy critical. That is why; one should be more careful about what kind of exercises they do and consulting a doctor is always a good option.
